  • 1 kg sweet potato (s)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon spice mixture (chilli garlic powder) or just garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika powder
  • 140 g cornstarch
  • 200 g water

Instructions

  1. First peel the sweet potatoes. Then cut into slices and use them to cut even sticks. You can also use the sweet potatoes unpeeled, then wash them well before cutting.
  2. Add the cornstarch to the water and stir without lumps. Stir in the salt, chilli garlic and paprika spice.
  3. Add the sweet potato sticks to the starch mixture and mix well. All fries should be soaked. Then drain.
  4. Bake the fries in the deep fryer for 6 - 9 minutes (depending on thickness) at 190 ° C until crispy.
