Ingredients
- 500 g Swiss chard
- 125 g ham, diced
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 500 ml vegetable stock, (instant)
- 200 g cream
- pepper
- salt

- Wash and clean the chard, cut the stalks into small cubes, coarsely chop the chard greens. Peel the garlic clove and cut into small pieces.
- Leave the ham cubes in the hot oil, add the chard stalks and cook everything together for 5-10 minutes. Also add the garlic and cook with it.
- Add the chard greens and let them collapse. Steam again for 5 minutes. Deglaze everything with the vegetable stock and cream, season with salt and pepper and simmer well for another 10 minutes.
- Puree everything thoroughly and bring to the boil again. Season if necessary.
- As a pre-soup, the recipe is sufficient for 4 people, as a main course I would make double the amount for 4 people.
