Tartlets with Apples, Honey and Cinnamon

Shortcrust tartlets are a universal thing. They can be served with a variety of fillings, sweet or not. In the first case, they will serve as a dessert, and in the second – a buffet snack. My current version is tartlets with apples, honey and cinnamon. Classic combination.

Of course, you can buy ready-made tartlets in the supermarket, and then use them when the need arises. I baked them myself, but homemade cakes are the most suitable option for me.
Peel the apples and cut them into cubes and thin slices. Sprinkle them with lemon to keep them light and not darken.
Melt the butter in a preheated frying pan and lightly fry the slices, and then the apple slices on all sides.
Transfer the apples from the frying pan to a bowl and mix with the honey and cinnamon and stir. The filling for the tartlets is ready.
In each tartlet I laid overlapping apples on the edges of the plate, and diced apples in the middle. We send tartlets with apples to the oven for just 3-5 minutes.
