Ingredients

  • 200 g flour
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 75 g mararine
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 500 g low-fat quark
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 2 packs vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet pudding powder
  • 1 cup oil (sunflower oil)
  • 0.5 liter ½ milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 lemon (s), add the juice from it
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Prepare a shortcrust pastry from flour, sugar, margarine, egg and baking powder and keep in a cool place. Quark, sugar, vanilla sugar, pudding powder, sunflower oil, egg yolks, salt and lemon juice beat well with the mixer, finally add the milk (use a splash guard, as the mixture is very liquid). The mass is very thin, but always succeeds.
  2. Line a greased springform pan with the shortcrust pastry, forming a high edge. Pour in the quark mixture and bake at 150 - 160 ° C (convection) on the bottom shelf of the oven for about 50 minutes.
  3. In the meantime, beat the 2 egg whites with the sugar to form firm egg whites. When the baking time is over, distribute it on the cake (do not smooth it out!) And bake for another 10 minutes, being careful not to turn the egg whites too brown. The tears form after cooling down.
