Instructions

  1. For the base, simply mix everything together with the mixer (it will be very firm, but it belongs like this, is a shortcrust pastry)! Press the soil evenly into a 26 cm form.
  2. Mix the quark, egg yolk, pudding powder, lemon juice, oil, milk, vanilla sugar, 50 g sugar and the mandarins together and pour onto the dough. Warning: The mass is very, very fluid, but don`t worry, that`s how it should be! I simply clamp a piece of baking paper into the bottom of the mold, because you don`t have to form an edge! Bake on the middle rack at 160 degrees for exactly 1 hour.
  3. About 5 minutes before the cake is ready, beat the egg white with 100 g sugar, take the cake out, spread the egg white on the hot cake, (first smooth it out, then dab it in with a spoon, then it looks nicer) and again exactly Bake for 10 minutes on the top rack. Take out the cake and put it in a cool place immediately, this is very important so that the beautiful tears emerge!
  4. It may look like a lot of ingredients and a lot of work, but it`s child`s play, goes super fast and tastes great!
