Thai Shrimp

Thai-style shrimps are cooked with a variety of spices. Shrimps, a frying pan and spices are all you need for a feast for the soul. Spice oil frying is used, and then shrimp is added.

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Shrimp – 750 Grams
  • Onion – 150 Grams
  • Garlic – 4 Cloves
  • Turmeric – 1 Tbsp. the spoon
  • Chile – 1 Teaspoon
  • Paprika – 1 \ 2 Teaspoons
  • Clove – 1 Pinch
  • Cardamom – 1/2 Teaspoons
  • Oil – 3 Art. spoons
  • Fresh ginger – 1 Teaspoon
  • Tomatoes – 2 Pieces
  • Coconut milk or cream – 250 Grams
  • Fresh cilantro – 2 tbsp (for decoration)

Directions

  1. Peel the shrimp, leave the tails. Sprinkle turmeric over the shrimp.
  2. Place the spices in a blender and grind.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the resulting spice paste.
  4. Place the shrimp in a skillet.
  5. Add the diced tomatoes.
  6. Add coconut milk or cream, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve with rice, sprinkle with herbs.
