Ingredients

  • 4 turkey escalope or pork tenderloin
  • 3 bell peppers, red, green, yellow
  • 6 potato (s)
  • 3 onion (s)
  • 400 g bacon, diced
  • 10 slices bacon
  • 1 teaspoon, heaped caraway seeds
  • 1 teaspoon oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash the turkey schnitzel, pat dry and season with salt and pepper. Fry them briefly in the pan and place them next to each other in a high baking dish.
  2. Peel and wash the potatoes and cut them into slices of about the same size, as well as the peppers and onions.
  3. First distribute the potatoes on the schnitzel and half of the diced bacon. Then spread 1 teaspoon of caraway seeds on top. Then the peppers and onion and the rest of the diced bacon. Finally, place the bacon in slices over the entire tray.
  4. Cover with aluminum foil and place in the oven for 1 hour and 45 minutes at 220 degrees. Then remove the aluminum foil and leave it in the oven for another 10 minutes until the bacon is crispy.
  5. This goes well with rice or a simple salad.
