Ingredients

  • 200 g flour
  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g chocolate, dark or whole milk
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 50 g cornstarch or custard powder (vanilla or cream flavor)
  • 1 teaspoon, heaped baking powder
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon sugar (flavored sugar)
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch (s) gingerbread spice
  • 1 pinch (s) allspice, ground
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 large egg (s)
  • 4 drops vanilla flavor
  • 9 tablespoon red wine
  • jam (blueberry, currant or wild berry)
  • powdered sugar
  • Cinnamon - sugar (flavored sugar)

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate with the butter in the microwave at approx. 600 W for approx. 2 - 3 minutes (check in between), allow to cool a little until the mixture is still thick. Put the flour with baking powder, cornstarch, cocoa, cinnamon, gingerbread spice, allspice, sugar, vanilla sugar, vanilla flavor, flavored sugar and egg in a bowl.
  2. Add the chocolate mixture and 6 - 7 tablespoons of red wine and knead everything with a whisk to a smooth dough. Knead briefly by hand and refrigerate in foil for at least 2 hours.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C (top / bottom heat). Roll out the dough between foil (if necessary add a little more flour if it should stick too much). Cut out hearts or stars and place on the tray, cut a hole out of half of the cookies in the middle (preferably with an apple cutter). Bake for about 10 minutes and let cool down on the wire rack. Do the same with the rest of the dough.
  4. Mix the jam with the rest of the red wine (2 tablespoon), heat briefly in the microwave and spread on the biscuits without a hole, sprinkle with some aromatic sugar and place the second biscuit on top, press lightly, then dust with powdered sugar.
