Ingredients

  • 100 g walnuts
  • 200 g flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 100 g butter
  • 3 tablespoon water, cold
  • 4 fig (s)
  • 100 g sour cream
  • 75 g Goronzola
  • 150 ml milk
  • 2 large egg (s)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 pinch (s) pepper
  • 0.5 ½ bunch thyme and something else to garnish

Instructions

  1. Finely grind 50 g walnuts and mix with the flour and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add the butter cut into pieces and the water and knead so that dry crumbs are formed, only then knead vigorously into a smooth dough. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and line a tart pan (26 cm) with it.
  2. Prick the dough several times with a fork and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  3. Halve or quarter the figs. Mix the sour cream with the Gorgonzola, milk and eggs. Season with salt and pepper, remove a few leaves from the thyme and stir in as well.
  4. Spread the figs on the tart base and pour the cheese-sour cream mixture over it. Bake in a preheated oven at 175-200 degrees, depending on the type of oven, for about 30-40 minutes. Roughly chop the rest of the walnuts and spread them over the tart after baking for 20-25 minutes. Decorate the tart with thyme leaves before serving.
