Ingredients

  • 6 potato (s)
  • 3 carrot (s)
  • 250 g beans, reen
  • 2 medium onion (s)
  • 1 large bell pepper (s), green
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ pepper, white
  • oil
  • 6 large spring onions

Yataklete Kilkil – Ethiopian Vegetable Stew

Instructions

  1. Cut the potatoes and carrots into approx. 2 cm long wedges. Let the potatoes, carrots and beans cook for 5 minutes and then drain the water.
  2. In the meantime, cut the onions and peppers and fry them in a large pan with a little oil. Season with garlic, salt, ginger and pepper and add the cooked vegetables. Let fry for about 10 minutes.
