Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 packet yeast (dry yeast)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 125 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 50 g butter, melt
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

For the sprinkles:

  • 75 g flour
  • 25 g hazelnuts, round or almonds
  • 75 g butter
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. For the dough, mix the flour with the yeast, salt and sugar. Pour in milk and gradually work it into a smooth dough with butter and egg yolk.
  2. Let rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes.
  3. Then spread the dough out in a greased springform pan, prick several times with a fork and brush with the egg white. Mix the cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle on top. Let rise again for about 15 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, put the flour, sugar, butter and cinnamon in a bowl and work into a crumbly dough.
  5. Sprinkle the crumble on the cake and bake at 200 ° C for about 25-30 minutes.
  6. Tastes best fresh, but lasts for 2 days.
