Ingredients
For the dough:
- 3 egg (s)
- 3 cup / s sugar
- 4 cup flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 500 ml buttermilk
For covering:
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup almond (s), ground
- 1 cup almond (s), sliced
- 200 ml cream

- For the base, mix eggs, sugar, flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar and buttermilk into a batter and pour onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Mix the desiccated coconut, sugar and the sliced and ground almonds in a bowl. Sprinkle the cake base with it.
- The baking time is approx. 40 minutes at 175 ° C. Spread the cream over the sheet cake 10 minutes before the end of the baking time and then continue baking.
- The cake is juicy and stays absolutely fresh for several days.
