Ingredients

  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 5 egg (s)
  • 350 g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 2 Table spoons milk
  • Fat, for the shape
  • 750 g plums
  • 100 g butter
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 100 g flaked almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (convection 160 degrees).
  2. Beat the butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Gradually stir in the eggs. Mix flour with baking powder and stir into the mixture. Add milk until the dough falls from the spoon and tears heavily. Fill into the greased form (26 cm diameter).
  3. Wash, halve and stone the plums. Cover the dough with the plums. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
  4. In the meantime, melt the butter in a saucepan over a low heat and dissolve the sugar in it. Mix in the flaked almonds.
  5. Spread the almond and sugar mixture on the cake, bake for another 40-45 minutes (if it gets too dark, cover with aluminum foil).
  6. Take the cake out of the tin and let it cool down.
