Ingredients

  • 1 apple
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar, brown
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons, leveled cinnamon
  • some water
  • some cornstarch
  • 8 wonton leaves for deep-frying
  • Oil for deep-frying
  • 2 tablespoon sugar (granulated sugar)
  • some vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Peel the apple and cut into small cubes, mix in a pan with the butter, lemon juice, brown sugar and a teaspoon of cinnamon. Steam for 10 minutes, adding water over and over again. Bind with a little cornstarch mixed in water and let cool.
  2. Heat the oil in the deep fryer to approx. 160 ° C.
  3. Place the wonton leaves on top. Place a heaped teaspoon filling in the middle of each piece. Fold into a triangle and seal the edges with water.
  4. Mix the granulated sugar and the second teaspoon of cinnamon together in a shallow bowl.
  5. Always add 2 or 3 wontons to the hot oil and fry for about 2 - 3 minutes.
  6. When they are golden brown, lift them out, drain them briefly on kitchen paper and add them directly to the previously prepared sugar-cinnamon mixture. Roll in the cinnamon sugar and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream while still warm.
