Apple-Cinnamon Smoothie with Kefir

Simple kefir and an apple-based smoothie with a delicate cinnamon and vanilla aroma is a great start to the day. The drink turns out to be very delicate, with a pleasant taste – a great breakfast or a light dessert!

Ingredients

  • Apples (large) – 2 pcs.
  • Kefir – 250 ml
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon – a pinch

For decoration (optional):

  • Fresh mint – 1 sprig

Vanilla sugar can be either white or brown.

Directions

  1. Peel and core the apples. Set aside the apple quarter for garnish.
  2. Cut the prepared apples into large random pieces.
  3. Combine kefir, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.
  4. Add the sliced apples.
  5. Grind with an immersion blender until smooth, about 1.5-2 minutes.
  6. Pour the apple and cinnamon smoothie into glasses.
  7. Cut the remaining apple quarter into thin slices.
  8. Garnish the smoothie glasses or glasses with apple slices and mint leaves if desired. Serve the smoothie with a straw and serve!
