Ingredients

  • 210 g suar
  • 115 g butter, soft
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 170 g cream cheese
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 185 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 3 apples
  • 25 g suar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Mix the butter with cream cheese, 210 g sugar, vanilla sugar and lemon juice with a mixer for a few minutes until frothy. Stir in the eggs one at a time. Mix the flour, baking powder and salt and gradually stir in. Peel the apples and cut into small cubes. Mix 25 g sugar with the cinnamon (more cinnamon if you like). Sprinkle 2/3 of the cinnamon sugar over the apples and mix well with your hands. Now fold the apple cubes into the batter.
  2. Fill the dough in a greased springform pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle with the rest of the cinnamon sugar and bake at 180 ° C top / bottom heat for 65-75 minutes.
  3. If the cake gets too dark, cover with some aluminum foil in the meantime. Test with a toothpick whether the cake is done.
  4. We serve it sprinkled with powdered sugar and serve with whipped cream.
