Ingredients

  • 240 g apples (Boskoop)
  • 120 g onion (s)
  • 20 g cane suar
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 half chilli
  • 1 star anise
  • 20 ml fruit vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled pepper
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Peel and chop the apples and onions and put them in a saucepan with all the ingredients.
  2. 2. Bring to the boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
  3. 3. Remove from heat, allow to cool and refrigerate until ready to serve.
