Ingredients

  • 150 grams flour

  • 80 g butter, soft

  • 30 grams sugar

Instructions

  1. Quickly knead the ingredients for the dough together, if it should stick, chill for an hour. Roll out almost half of the dough on the bottom of a greased springform pan, prick several times with a fork and prebake at 200 ° C for 15 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  2. Peel the apples and cut into small pieces, sauté them with sugar, cinnamon and apple juice, thicken with the starch.
  3. Beat the apricot jam with the butter and sugar, stir in the egg yolks and fold in the whipped egg whites.
  4. Roll out 2/3 of the remaining dough into a sheet the size of the springform base (works well between 2 floured plastic sheets) and cut into strips. Line the edge of the springform pan approx. 2 cm high with the remaining dough.
