Ingredients

  • 1 glass sugar
  • 1 glass flour
  • 1 glass semolina (soft wheat)
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • some cinnamon (to taste)
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 kg apples
  • 150 g butter (frozen)
  • Fat for the shape
  • Breadcrumbs for the mold

Instructions

  1. Peel and roughly grate apples, with 3 tablespoons. Mix the sugar, cinnamon and vanilla sugar and divide into 2 equal parts.
  2. Mix the flour, sugar, semolina and baking powder together and divide into 3 equal parts. Grease a round baking pan and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Spread 1 part flour mixture evenly on the bottom. Spread half of the apples on top and cover with the 2nd part of the flour mixture. Then spread the remaining apples on top and pour the remaining flour over it. Finally, grate the frozen butter and distribute it evenly over the cake.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven at approx. 180 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes.
