Ingredients

  • 600 g apricot (s)
  • 500 g carrot (s), finely rated
  • 1 lemon (s)
  • 1 kg preserving sugar, :

Instructions

  1. Dip the apricots briefly in hot water, then rinse them in cold water and peel off the skin. Halve the apricots, remove the core and then finely puree.
  2. Put in a saucepan with the grated carrots. Squeeze the lemon and add the juice. Also add the preserving sugar and stir everything well.
  3. Bring to the boil while stirring and let it simmer for about 6 minutes. Make a gel test!
  4. Pour boiling hot into clean glasses and close immediately.
  5. Makes approx. 8 glasses of 200 ml each.
