Artichoke hearts and parmesan wrapped in crispy bacon. Served with spicy chipotle sauce, it’s a game day victory!
Ingredients
2 cans of artichoke hearts
10 bacon slices, cut in a half criss-cross
1/2 a cup of grated parmesan cheese
1 a clove of garlic, minced or grated
1 whole canned chipotle chili in adobo, minced
15 whole toothpicks (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 ° F. Spread bacon strips on a foil-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle the bacon with Parmesan. Place an artichoke core in the center of each bacon strip. Wrap the bacon around the artichoke and, if desired, secure the bacon with a toothpick. Sprinkle the slices with Parmesan and pepper.
Bake for 45 minutes or until bacon is crispy.
Meanwhile, combine mayonnaise, garlic, honey, chopped chipotle chili, and a pinch of pepper in a medium bowl. Stir until smooth. Transfer to a dipping bowl and refrigerate until tender.
Serve the bacon slices with toothpicks and the spicy chipotle aioli.
