Ingredients

  • 500 g asparaus, reen
  • 5 medium potato (s)
  • 120 g cooked ham
  • 0.5 ½ onion (s)
  • some powdered sugar
  • Pepper (herb pepper)
  • Paprika powder
  • salt
  • 2 tablespoon butter or clarified butter

Instructions

  1. If necessary, cut off the woody end pieces from the green asparagus and cut into bite-sized pieces. Peel the potatoes and cut into smaller cubes. Dice the cooked ham and onion.
  2. First put the clarified butter in a coated higher pan. Place the asparagus pieces on top and dust with powdered sugar. Spread the potato pieces on top and pour the diced ham and onion on top. Season with herbs and spices of your choice and put a lid on the pan.
  3. Only now turn on the stove and steam for about 5 - 7 minutes. The asparagus releases liquid after a short time. When the water has evaporated, remove the lid and continue frying at medium temperature until the desired degree of browning is achieved. Finally, add a little salt.
