Ingredients

  • 2 slices puff pastry, frozen
  • 1 bar chocolate, sort to taste, 00 g

For decoration:

  • whipped cream or
  • Chocolate flakes, chocolate - or sugar sprinkles

Instructions

  1. I`m sure you know that too: unexpectedly a visitor comes in for coffee and you don`t have a cake at home. And no more time to bake. Or you process puff pastry and have two slices left. How about this then?
  2. Thaw 2 slices of frozen puff pastry. No need to roll out! Put a 100 g bar of chocolate on one of the slices (the variety is entirely to your taste. Everything is possible from whole milk to hazelnut to white chocolate). Place the other slice of puff pastry on top, close the sides well - done.
  3. Bake at 150 degrees in the preheated oven on the middle rack for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Tastes warm and cold!
  5. If you like, you can decorate with cream, chocolate, etc. after cooling.
  6. Sure, it`s not the most festive cake or the most sophisticated cake in the world. But surely the fastest and easiest. And you don`t just have to drink the coffee alone, you have something delicious to snack on on your plate.
