Ingredients

  • 2 ½ apples, sour, e.g., Braeburn
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 vanilla pod (s)
  • 170 ml water
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 150 g vanilla yourt
  • 200 g cream cheese, rainier
  • 20 g almond (s)

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the apples and remove the core. Cut the apples into small cubes. Mix the apple cubes with lemon juice. Put in a saucepan and heat.
  2. Scrape out the vanilla pod. Add the pod and pulp with the cinnamon to the apples and stir in. Add 100 ml water and cook covered for 20 minutes. Stir again and again and pour in the rest of the water until the apples have become puree.
  3. Mix the vanilla yoghurt and the cottage cheese and divide each into 2 bowls.
  4. Remove the vanilla pod from the sauce and add it to the bowl with the cottage cheese. Sprinkle some cinnamon and almonds on top.
