Ingredients

  • 250 g cheese, (brie), round, or camembert
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard with herbs
  • 2 tablespoon parsley, fresh, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 0.5 ½ red pepper (s), diced into small pieces
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix well all ingredients except the cheese. Place the cheese wheel on a deep plate or in a bowl and poke many holes in the cheese with a fork. Spread the marinade over the cheese. But only on top. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  2. Preheat the BBQ to medium temperature (not too hot, otherwise the cheese will run too quickly). Place the cheese on an aluminum grill tray with holes. Depending on the temperature, heat for about 15 minutes until the cheese bulges at the corners or is soft. Above all, the core must be soft or through. The brie can also be heated in the oven. Then preheat the oven to 180 ° C and bake the cheese for about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Excellent as an aperitif with baguette or crackers. But also super delicious as a side dish for grilling. Or just with a salad and baguette.
