Ingredients

  • 400 ml milk, 3.5% fat
  • 100 ml cream
  • 30 grams sugar
  • 1 bag vanilla sugar
  • 100 g brie
  • 10 g cornstarch (potato or corn starch)
  • 1 pinch (s) nutmeg
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 2 cl cognac

Instructions

  1. 1. Cut the brie into small pieces, then put all the ingredients - except for the cream and starch - in a saucepan until the brie has largely dissolved.
  2. 2. Stir the mixture through a sieve and pour it back into the saucepan.
  3. 3. Now mix the cream with the cornstarch and add to the saucepan. Stir well over medium heat until it becomes a creamy sauce.
  4. 4. Now the sauce can be used, preferably with my apple tart.
