Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C (top / bottom heat). Clean the carrots and cut in half or quarter lengthways, depending on their size. The pieces shouldn`t be like fat fingers anymore.
  2. Grease a baking dish, add the carrots in layers and add sugar and salt to each layer and add the other spices to taste. Add orange zest and juice and seal with aluminum foil. It is good if you take a form where the carrots lie on top of each other in as few layers as possible.
  3. Cook in the oven at 200 ° C for 40 minutes without convection. At the same time, you can also add a potato gratin - it takes the same cooking time.
  4. I entered the recipe for 1 person, but I usually do it for four. You can just increase the ingredients.
