Carrots Baked with Cheese

I love carrots in any form, especially baked in the oven, and especially with such a wonderful creamy sauce. I suggest the same fans of carrots to make sure to cook baked carrots with cheese, really tasty and healthy!

Ingredients

  • Medium carrots (sliced) – 900 g
  • Chicken broth – 2-2.5 cups
  • Processed cheese (diced) – 230 g
  • Butter – 2 tbsp
  • Cream cheese (diced) – 230 g
  • Green onions (chopped) – 4 pcs.
  • Salt – 1/4 teaspoon.
  • Ground black pepper – 1/4 teaspoon.

Directions

  1. Pour broth into a large saucepan, pour carrots (carrots should be covered with broth). Bring broth to a boil, reduce heat, cover pan and simmer for about 7-9 minutes, until carrots are slightly soft.
  2. Meanwhile, combine the butter and melted cheese in a large saucepan, put the saucepan on low heat, and cook, stirring occasionally, until the cheese is completely melted. Add cream cheese, pour onions, season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally until the cream cheese is melted. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.
  3. Drain the boiled carrots and put in a saucepan with the cheese mixture, stir, and then put the mass in an oiled heat-resistant dish with a volume of about 2 liters. Place the dish with carrots in a preheated oven and bake the carrots with cheese for about 20-25 minutes.
