  • 400 g sheep cheese
  • 3 large cloves garlic
  • 1 pinch (s) salt and pepper, from the mill
  • 2 tablespoon herbs, chopped
  • 50 grams flour
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3 tablespoon oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut the sheep`s cheese into 8 slices (2 slices per person are counted). Then squeeze the garlic cloves and rub the cheese with the resulting juice. Season with salt, pepper from the mill and chopped herbs. Turn in flour, then turn in the beaten eggs and bake in very hot oil until golden brown.
  2. Queso frito is eaten very hot. Red and green peppers (pickled) taste good as a side dish, and they are usually served with a light rosé or red wine.
