Ingredients

  • 800 g nocchi
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 can sauerkraut, (drained weight: 350 grams)
  • 100 g cheese, stron (e.. Gruyère)
  • 0.5 ½ bunch parsley
  • 3 slices ham, cooked
  • 200 g mushrooms
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 100 ml milk
  • 250 g mascarpone, (Italian double cream cheese)
  • a bit salt
  • some pepper

Instructions

  1. Finely dice the onion. Clean the mushrooms and cut into thin slices. Roughly dice (or tear) the ham. Clean the parsley and finely chop the leaves. Rasp cheese. Drain the sauerkraut in a colander. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees.
  2. Heat 1 good tablespoon of butter in a shallow saucepan and sauté the onions and mushrooms in it. Add the Gnocci and stir briefly. Add the ham and sauerkraut, let everything simmer for 5 minutes. Mix the milk with the mascarpone and bring everything to a boil. Stir in parsley and season with a little salt and pepper.
  3. Grease a baking dish with the last tablespoon of butter and put the sauerkraut / gnocci in the baking dish. Sprinkle everything with the grated cheese and put in the oven. Baked at 220 degrees for about 10-15 minutes.
  4. A mixed salad as a side dish.
