Ingredients

  • 2 schnitzel, (chicken, turkey or pork)
  • 2 large carrot (s)
  • 3 spring onion (s)
  • 0.5 ½ cup crème fraîche herbs
  • 0.5 ½ cup sour cream
  • 200 ml cream
  • 100 g cheese, sliced or rated, as you like
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 2 tablespoon white wine
  • 1 squirt lemon juice
  • Salt, possibly herbal salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel the carrot and cut into thin slices. Cut the spring onions into slices or rings and the onion into cubes.
  2. Salt and pepper the meat (if you like, you can also use herb salt instead of plain salt) and sear briefly on both sides. Add the onion cubes and fry, then add the carrot and spring onions. After a short time, reduce the heat (medium heat setting is sufficient) and fry the whole thing for approx. 5 minutes, turning the meat halfway through again. Then add the cream, sour cream and crème fraîche and stir briefly. Refine with white wine and lemon juice, season again if necessary.
  3. Now put the entire contents of the pan in a baking dish and cover completely with cheese. Bake in the oven at 200 ° C for approx. 20 to 30 minutes (depending on the desired browning of the cheese).
  4. We prefer to eat croquettes with it, but rice or spaetzle also go very well.
