Instructions

  1. Cut the beetroot into slightly thicker slices. Brush a small baking dish with a little olive oil. Place the beetroot slices in the baking dish like a roof tile. Then season the slices with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Pluck off the thyme leaves, spread over them and drizzle with the blossom honey. Roughly crumble the sheep`s cheese and place on top and sprinkle with olive oil.
  3. Gratinate in the oven at approx. 170 ° C for 10 - 15 minutes. The sheep`s cheese should be soft but not too brown.
  4. It goes well with long white bread - a light dinner for 2 or a starter plate for 4 people.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
