  • 150 g powdered suar
  • 150 g butter, room temperature or liquid
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 250 g flour
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 150 ml sparkling mineral water

Instructions

  1. Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Beat the butter with the powdered sugar and egg yolks until frothy and add the vanilla sugar. Mix the flour with the baking powder and gradually stir in the mineral water. Finally fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites until no whiskers are visible.
  2. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes and then bake in portions in the waffle iron.
