Ingredients
- 500 g minced meat, mixed
- 1 egg (s)
- 1 small bun, soaked and squeezed well
- 1 onion (s), finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, very finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper, freshly ground
- 1 pinch allspice
- 1 pinch cumin
- 1 teaspoon, heaped oregano
- 1 teaspoon, heaped thyme
- 1 teaspoon tomato paste
- Olive oil, for frying

- Soak 12 wooden skewers in cold water for approx. 1 hour.
- Carefully knead the mince, tomato paste, bread roll, egg, onion, garlic and spices together in a bowl. Shape it into small, elongated loaves around the skewers. Fry the skewers all around in hot oil for approx. 4 minutes, place on a baking sheet and cook in the oven at approx. 150 ° for 10 minutes.
- Garnish with lemon wedges and serve with a Greek pasta salad.
