Ingredients

  • 1 cup wheat bran
  • 0.5 ½ cup flour
  • 0.5 ½ cup raisins or nuts
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.75 ¾ cup milk
  • 0.5 ½ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoon sunflower oil
  • 1 egg (s)

Instructions

  1. Mix the bran, flour, baking soda and baking powder, add the raisins or nuts (or both) and set aside.
  2. Mix the milk, honey, oil and egg and add the mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until all ingredients are moist.
  3. Spread in a greased muffin tin (makes 12-14 pieces) and bake at 200 degrees (top / bottom heat) for about 15 minutes.
