Ingredients

  • 750 g minced meat (sausae meat, preferably from Franconian sausaes)
  • 250 g cooked ham
  • 5 pickled cucumber (s)
  • 3 onion (s)
  • 2 tablespoon mustard
  • Oregano, rubbed
  • 2 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 packs puff pastry (frozen)

Instructions

  1. Rinse a deep baking sheet with cold water. Thaw the puff pastry sheets and roll out five slices and lay them out on the baking sheet.
  2. Spread the bratwurst meat on top and smooth it out well. Place the ham in slices on top of the pastry. Finely chop the cucumber and onions and place on top. Mix the ketchup with the mustard and oregano and spread on.
  3. Roll out the remaining five sheets of puff pastry and cover everything well. Press the edges together. Prick several times with a fork.
  4. Put in the cold oven. Bake at 180 ° C (convection) for approx. 40 - 45 minutes. Serve with a salad. Also tastes very good cold, even on a buffet.
