  • 4 egg (s)
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Put the bread rolls in a large bowl, pour the hot milk over them and let them steep for 15 minutes. Steam the onion in the butter, taking care not to let it take any color. Mix the onion cubes with the rolls. This is best done with your hands. Add the eggs and parsley and season with salt, pepper and a little nutmeg. Put the mixture in a greased loaf pan.
  2. Place the mold on a deep tray in the oven preheated to 180 ° C and pour in hot water so that the mold is a few centimeters in the water. Bake the baking pan dumplings in the oven for 40-50 minutes, then take them out and let them cool down.
  3. Cool the dumpling into slices and e.g., Cut out stars - for a Christmas menu. Fry the slices briefly in foamed butter. Or just cut the slices diagonally and bake the triangles.
