Ingredients

For the batter: (brownie)

  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 50 g butter
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 120 g suar, brown
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 25 g cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 3 egg (s)

For the second dough: (cheesecake)

  • 70 g butter, soft
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 60 g suar
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 750 g quark, 20%
  • 75 g durum wheat semolina

Also:

  • 1 glass cherry (s), 720 ml each
  • Icing sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Drain the cherries. Chop the chocolate and melt it together with 50 g butter.
  2. For the brownie batter, mix the flour, baking powder, brown sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and cocoa together. Mix 3 eggs until creamy. First stir in the chocolate mixture, then stir in the flour mixture in 2 portions. Place the brownie batter in a springform pan with a diameter of 26 cm, lined with baking paper.
  3. Mix the 70 g soft butter with a pinch of salt and the sugar until creamy. Stir in the eggs. Stir in the quark and semolina. First distribute the cherries, then the quark mixture on the brownie batter.
  4. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for 60 minutes. Watch the cake; if it turns too brown: cover.
  5. After baking, let the cake rest for 10 minutes in the switched off oven. Then remove the cake, remove immediately from the springform pan with a knife and leave to cool in the pan. After cooling, remove the cake from the mold and dust the edge with powdered sugar.
  6. Whipped cream with chocolate shavings tastes good with it.
