Instructions

  1. Clean the Brussels sprouts, remove the outer leaves, cut the stalk crosswise, wash and boil in salted water for 15 minutes. Cut the Cabanossi into slices and dice the onions.
  2. Fry the onion cubes with the Cabanossi slices in oil. Heat the fat in a second saucepan, sauté with the flour and add 125 ml of stock and 125 ml of milk. Add the processed cheese and season with salt, pepper, nutmeg and thyme.
  3. Place the Brussels sprouts with the Cabanossi and onions in a baking dish, pour the cheese sauce over them and bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 225 ° C.
  4. Tip: Instead of Cabanossi, you can also use Kasselerfleisch.
