Ingredients
- 70 g bacon, diced
- 1 onion (s), diced
- 1 large can sauerkraut
- 100 g sour cream or sour cream
- 3 tablespoon whipped cream
- 2 Cabanossi
- 1 kg potato (s), (floury or mainly waxy)
- milk
- 2 tablespoon butter
- nutmeg
- Paprika powder, noble sweet
- salt and pepper
- possibly marjoram
- possibly fried onions
- 100 g cheese (Gouda), rated or breadcrumbs and flakes butter

- Fry the bacon and onion cubes and mix with roughly chopped sauerkraut, sour cream, cream, salt and pepper. Put in the Ultra 3 l from Tupperware or another, slightly higher casserole dish with a capacity of approx. 3 l.
- Halve the Cabanossi lengthways and cut into slices, spread over the sauerkraut and sprinkle with paprika powder.
- Make a puree from the potatoes with the butter and milk. Stir in nutmeg, pepper, salt and, if you like, fried onions and marjoram. Spread the mashed potatoes on the cabanossi slices. Spread either grated cheese or breadcrumbs and flakes of butter on top.
- Bake in a hot oven at 200 ° C top / bottom heat (convection: 180 ° C) for about 30 minutes.
