- 20 g butter
- 200 g rice, (lon rain rice)
- 400 ml vegetable stock

- Peel the onion and cut into small cubes.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan and sweat the onion cubes and rice until translucent. Pour in the vegetable stock, bring to the boil and cover the rice over low heat for 15-20 minutes.
- If necessary, season the cooked rice with salt.
