Ingredients

  • 350 g butter
  • 350 grams sugar
  • 350 g flour
  • 6 egg (s)
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 3 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 packet cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream

For decoration:

Instructions

  1. For the cake, stir together butter, sugar, flour, eggs, vanilla sugar, baking powder and lemon juice in a bowl and bake on a tray at 175 ° C (top / bottom heat) for 20 minutes.
  2. Let the sheet cake cool completely and crumble it very finely in a large bowl. Knead the cream cheese and sour cream under the cake crumbs until a solid mass is formed.
  3. Shape the dough into balls in your hand (approx. 30 g per ball) and put the balls in the refrigerator overnight.
  4. Melt the chocolate. Dip the end of a wooden stick into the chocolate and stick it in the center of the ball. When all the balls are skewered, the balls are completely covered with the chocolate.
  5. Drain the balls and place them on a piece of plug-in moss. If you like, you can sprinkle colored sprinkles or brittle on the still liquid chocolate. Place in the refrigerator for a few hours until the chocolate is really firm. The cake pops can now be decorated with liquid chocolate.
