Ingredients

  • 3 red pepper (s)
  • 3 bell pepper (s), yellow
  • 3 onion (s)
  • 500 g potato (s)
  • 1 ½ kg turkey breast
  • 8 stalks marjoram
  • 1 bottle sauce (barbecue, 250 ml)
  • 50 ml maple syrup
  • 50 ml whiskey
  • 1 liter water
  • 200 g whipped cream
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 2 teaspoons pepper, coarsely ground
  • 1 pinch (s) chili powder

Instructions

  1. Clean, wash and roughly dice the peppers. Peel and roughly dice the onions. Peel, wash and roughly dice the potatoes. Wash the turkey breast, pat dry and cut into cubes. Wash the marjoram, shake it dry and pick off the leaves.
  2. Mix together the barbecue sauce, maple syrup, whiskey, cream and 1 liter of water. Stir in salt, 1 1/2 teaspoons pepper and chilli.
  3. Mix the turkey breast, bell pepper, onions, potatoes and marjoram, place in a large saucepan, add the mixed liquid. Bring everything to the boil and cover and cook over a medium heat for about 1 1/2 hours.
  4. Pluck the remaining marjoram leaves. Garnish the party pot with marjoram and sprinkle with the remaining pepper. Creme fraîche and fresh farmer`s bread go well with a hearty stew.
