Canapes with Smoked Salmon “Seven Layers”

A cute appetizer of the best-smoked salmon and the best red caviar. Of course, the taste is excellent! An excellent option for a New Year’s snack, because the recipes for New Year’s dishes are selected by the most beautiful ones.

Ingredients

  • Cream cheese (whisk) – 300 g
  • Lemon zest (finely grated) – 1 teaspoon.
  • Fresh lemon juice – 2 teaspoon
  • Chives (finely chopped greens) – 2 tbsp
  • Salt – ¼ teaspoon
  • Black pepper – ¼ teaspoon
  • Rye bread – 6 slices (about 0.8 cm thick)
  • Smoked salmon – 220 g
  • Red caviar – 50 g

Directions

  1. Toss in the cream cheese, lemon zest, lemon juice, green onions, salt, and pepper. Cut out rectangles about 8×10 cm from rye bread slices. Grease each 1 tbsp (with a slide) cheese mixture.
  2. Top with a thin slice of fish (exactly the right size). Repeat layers. Brush the top with cheese mixture again. Trim the edges to make the sandwiches even and uniform. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Cut into small canapes (2 x 3 cm).
  3. Spread the red caviar on top in an even layer. Canape with smoked salmon “Seven Layers” are ready. Bon Appetit!
