Ingredients

  • g 1,000 cauliflower
  • 100 g onion (s)
  • 80 g bacon, streaky
  • 250 g meat sausae
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • Salt and pepper, white, freshly ground

For the sauce:

  • 25 g butter
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 125 ml stock (from cauliflower cooking)
  • 250 ml milk
  • 2 corner (s) processed cheese light
  • 60 g cheese, rated
  • 1 bunch chives
  • nutmeg
  • salt and pepper
  • Butter for the mold

Instructions

  1. Clean the cauliflower and cut out the stalk. Divide the cabbage into bite-sized florets and cook in salted water for 10 minutes. Take out and collect 125 ml of the cooking water.
  2. Cut the bacon into cubes and drain in 1 tablespoon of oil. Peel and dice the onion and add to the bacon. Peel the sausage and cut into 5 mm cubes, add to the bacon onion mixture and fry with it. Season with pepper if necessary. Mix in the cauliflower florets. Put everything in a baking dish greased with butter.
  3. For the sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan. Sweat the flour colorless in it. Slowly pour in the cauliflower water and milk and let them boil through. Dissolve the cheese wedges in the simmering sauce, season with pepper, salt and nutmeg. Pour the sauce over the cauliflower and sausage mixture and sprinkle with the grated cheese.
  4. Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 180 degrees top / bottom heat for 25 - 30 minutes. Serve sprinkled with chives.
