Cheese-Breaded Baked Chicken Strips with Yoghurt Sauce

Baked chicken strips (from English srips – strips) are a great homemade alternative to fast food from a famous fast food chain. It will become even more pleasant to while away the evening watching a good movie, touching the crispy and juicy pieces of chicken fillet in cheese breading. And with a sauce of yogurt, garlic and herbs, chicken strips will become even tastier.

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet – 800 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Hard cheese – 30 g
  • Bread crumbs – 5-7 tbsp
  • Wheat flour – 5 tbsp
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Lime (zest) – 1 pc.
  • Mustard – ½ tbsp
  • Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Worcestershire sauce – 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp
  • Greek yogurt – 100 g
  • Fresh cilantro – 3 sprigs
  • Fresh parsley – 3 sprigs
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. We prepare all the necessary products. We also need parchment paper.
  2. We wash the chicken fillet and remove the films and veins Cut the fillet into long thin strips.
  3. Using a fine grater, remove the zest from the lime.
  4. Peel the garlic. Finely chop one clove of garlic.
  5. Put the chicken fillet in a bowl, add chopped garlic, lime zest, soy sauce, mustard,
  6. Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly and leave for 1 hour.
  7. Three cheese on a fine grater. We turn on the oven to heat up to 200 degrees.
  8. Combine cheese and bread crumbs in a flat plate.
  9. Break the egg into a small bowl and add 2-3 tbsp of water. Beat the egg and water with a fork.
  10. Pour flour into a flat plate. Roll each piece of fillet in flour.
  11. Then we dip it into the egg mixture.
  12. Then roll in breadcrumbs with cheese.
  13. Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the cheese-breaded chicken strips on it. We bake the chicken fillet in the oven at 200 degrees for 15 minutes.
  14. At this time, prepare the sauce. Finely chop the cilantro and parsley. Pass the remaining clove of garlic through a press
  15. We send herbs and garlic to yogurt. Pour olive oil there. Salt.
  16. We mix.
  17. Serve baked chicken strips with yoghurt sauce and crunch deliciously.
