Ingredients

  • 250 g puff pastry, frozen
  • 400 g kohlrabi, more tender
  • sea-salt
  • 200 g cheese, (raclette)
  • 250 g cream
  • 4 egg yolks
  • Pepper, whiter
  • Butter for the molds
  • possibly nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Thaw the puff pastry completely. Butter a baking dish, rinse with cold water and place the dough in the dish.
  2. The kohlrabi is washed and cleaned, halved and then cut into slices. Then blanch them for about 1 minute in boiling salted water, drain and rinse.
  3. Then the kohlrabi is placed on the puff pastry and the chopped cheese is sprinkled over it.
  4. Whisk the cream, egg yolks and spices and pour over the kohlrabi filling. Bake in the preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 18-20 minutes.
