Ingredients

  • 40 g butter, soft
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 100 g quark
  • 65 g cheese (Gouda)
  • 100 g white bread, debarked
  • 120 ml milk
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Oil, for frying out

Instructions

  1. Beat the butter until foamy. Squeeze the quark well in a cloth and gradually work it into the butter together with the eggs. Cut the white bread into small cubes, add to the mixture, mix in the grated Gouda cheese. Season with salt, pepper and grated nutmeg. Then add enough milk that the mixture is compact and moist. Shape the mixture into small patties with a diameter of 4 cm (no higher than 1 cm).
  2. Heat oil in a pan and slowly fry the patties on both sides until golden. Then remove the frying fat with kitchen paper.
  3. Arrange on leaf salads.
