Ingredients

For the shortcrust pastry:

  • 150 grams flour
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled baking powder
  • 65 g suar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 50 g butter

For the filling:

  • 0.25 liter ¼ cream
  • 180 g suar
  • a bit salt
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 packet custard powder, vanilla flavor
  • 750 g quark, lean
  • 2 egg whites, beaten to stiff egg whites

Instructions

  1. Make a shortcrust pastry from flour, baking powder, sugar, egg yolk, milk and butter. Line a greased baking pan (26 cm) with it and prick it several times with a fork. Pre-bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C top / bottom heat for approx. 10 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, whip the cream until stiff for the filling and pour in the sugar and a pinch of salt. Carefully stir in the egg yolks, also the vanilla pudding powder with the low-fat quark. Finally fold in the egg whites.
  3. Spread on the pre-baked shortcrust pastry and bake for about 1 hour at 175 ° C.
