Ingredients

  • 1 glass sour cherries (370 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (0 g)
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 100 g biscuit (s), (butter biscuits, alternatively orane cookies or speculoos)
  • 300 g yourt, (cream yourt, alternatively vanilla yourt)

Instructions

  1. Drain the cherries, collecting the juice. Mix the starch with 4 tablespoons of juice until smooth. Bring the remaining juice to the boil with sugar, stir in the starch and let it boil. Let simmer for about 1 minute. Fold in the cherries and let the compote cool.
  2. Coarsely crumble the biscuits. Beat the yogurt until smooth.
  3. Put some yoghurt in 4 dessert glasses or a large glass bowl. Sprinkle the crumbled biscuits on top. Pour in the cherries, except for 1 tablespoon for decoration. Put the rest of the yogurt on top and decorate with the rest of the cherries.
  4. Let it steep for a moment and serve.
  5. During the Christmas season, dessert also tastes good with speculoos.
